La Guardia Civil a libéré l’opposant algérien Hichem Aboud, écrivain exilé en France, à Séville, où il avait été trouvé menotté au cours d’une opération anti-drogue, ont indiqué à EFE des sources proches de l’enquête, qui ont précisé que l’homme se portait bien.
Selon ces sources, l’homme a été libéré fortuitement le 19 octobre au petit matin, lorsque des agents de la Guardia Civil ont détecté une embarcation suspecte de trafic de drogue sur le Guadalquivir, alors qu’elle passait par la ville sévillane de Lebrija.
Les agents ont observé trois véhicules préparés pour la contrebande de drogue, mais en présence de la Guardia Civil, ils ont pris la fuite, bien que deux personnes aient été arrêtées et qu’une autre ait été retrouvée menottée.
L’homme libéré, un ressortissant algérien, a déclaré avoir été kidnappé à Barcelone.
Son avocat a déclaré qu’il pourrait avoir été enlevé le 17 octobre à Barcelone. Selon son témoignage, il est arrivé à l’aéroport El Prat en provenance de Bruxelles et sa trace a été perdue.
La Guardia Civil continue d’enquêter sur ces événements afin de clarifier tous les aspects de l’affaire.
L’Assemblée mondiale amazighe (AMA), qui représente le peuple berbère, a été la première à tirer la sonnette d’alarme samedi en exprimant son inquiétude quant à la disparition de Aboud.
Hicham Abaoud, 69 ans, retrouvé en bonne santé, est l’auteur de livres très critiques à l’égard des autorités algériennes, comme « La mafia des généraux ».
