RIYADH — Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Fadley will visit Pakistan on Wednesday as the two countries seek to deepen cooperation in food production, agriculture, irrigation and water management.The visit will focus on developing and improving the efficiency of irrigation and water systems, strengthening food security and supporting growth in bilateral trade, the Saudi Press Agency reported.Al-Fadley and the accompanying delegation are scheduled to hold a series of meetings with Pakistani government officials to explore ways to expand cooperation and strengthen partnerships between the two countries.Discussions will focus on opportunities in agricultural and livestock production and food processing, as well as the exchange of expertise and experience aimed at supporting the sustainability and growth of the agricultural sector.The two sides are also expected to explore opportunities for mutual investment in food security as part of efforts to broaden economic cooperation and advance their strategic partnership.
