Valve teste enfin la fonction que les joueurs réclamaient : le téléchargement écran éteint. La nouvelle mise à jour (en bêta) du Steam Deck introduit un mode basse consommation qui termine les téléchargements actifs avant la mise en veille. Cette fonction est activée par défaut lorsque la console est branchée, mais peut aussi l'être sur batterie (jusqu'à 20%). Cela préserve la batterie et l'écran OLED.
