Samsung is rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy S23 FE. It brings the February 2026 security patch to the phone to improve its security and reliability. The phone received the Android 16-based One UI 8 update a few months ago and will likely get the Android 17 update later this year.

The new update for the Galaxy S23 FE comes with firmware version S711BXXSEFZB3 and has a download size of around 274MB. It is currently rolling out in Africa, Asia, Europe, and a few other markets. The update includes fixes for 37 security vulnerabilities that were discovered in Galaxy phones and tablets. It may also include a few other bug fixes and reliability improvements.

The previous update the phone received was in January 2026, and it received that respective month's security patch.

If you have a Galaxy S23 FE, you can check for the new update by heading to Settings > Software update and tapping Download and install. If the update is available in your region, it will start downloading. Once the download is complete, tap Install now.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S23 FE in late 2023 with Android 14 onboard. The phone received the Android 15 update in early 2025 and the Android 16 update in the second half of 2025. If you want to upgrade to a newer phone, you can consider the Galaxy S25 FE.
