AT&T has made its subscribers wait for a long time to get a taste of One UI 7. Even as rival carriers Verizon and T-Mobile have quickly completed the roll out on their networks, AT&T subscribers have had to be patient.
The wait finally ended yesterday when AT&T started rolling out the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series nearly three weeks after it first went live in the United States. The carrier has now released the update for the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Samsung started rolling out the One UI 7 update for eligible devices in the United States on April 10. The release had to be paused soon after, but it resumed within a couple of days, and has since been rolling out to both unlocked and carrier locked devices in the United States.
It's believed that there were some bugs with the AT&T pre-installed apps that needed to be sorted out before this update was released. It has taken the carrier around three weeks to address the situation, so now it has started to finally release the update for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in the United States, as many users on reddit have confirmed.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 owners will soon receive the update notification on their device, if they haven't already. They can also head over to the Settings app and go to the Software update menu followed by Download and install to manually pull the update.
There are still a lot of One UI 7 eligible devices on AT&T that are yet to be updated. It's promising that at least the carrier has started the roll out, so they should expect to get the update in the coming days.
