Samsung has been the world's biggest TV brand for 19 years in a row, and it makes all kinds of TVs, ranging from regular LCD TVs to QLED TVs and from OLED TVs to Micro LED TVs. If you are not sold on OLED TVs due to their high prices or chances of pixel burn in, and are on the lookout for a QLED or a Neo QLED TV, we are here to help.
In this article, you can find the best QLED TVs from Samsung, whether you want a 4K TV, an 8K TV, or a TV that can be a statement piece in your living room.
We have listed the best Samsung QLED and Neo QLED TVs to buy in 2025. We have listed the models that were in stock in April 2025, and the stocks of previous generation models might not be available in select countries, regions, and stores.
Whether you want an 8K TV because you want nothing but the best or because you have the money to splurge, Samsung should be your go to choice because it makes the best 8K TVs in the market.
While the QN990F is the company’s flagship 8K TV for the year 2025, we think the QN900F is the best Samsung 8K TV for most people who want them. At $3,299 for the 65-inch model of the QN900F, it is a lot cheaper than the QN990F ($5,499) but still offers 8K resolution. It also features last year's (still) legendary NQ8 AI Gen 2 processor for excellent image processing and pairs it with the new Glare Free 2.0 coating to combat glare and reflections.
Its VA QLED 8K panel has 1,344 dimming zones (65-inch), offering great control over brightness and contrast. It offers over 2,500 nits of peak brightness on a 10% window and close to 1,000 nits on full screen. That's more than enough for impactful HDR performance.
Software wise, it runs Tizen OS 9.0 with the new version of One UI, offering smartphone-like menu system to improve the user experience. And it will get operating system upgrades for seven years. It has all the necessary ports and connectivity options that most people need.
The TV also features a 4.2.2-channel speaker system that offers decent audio and Dolby Atmos even if you don't have a separate soundbar or multi-channel speaker system. And if you pair it with a Samsung soundbar, the onboard speakers can do wonders by aiding the already good speakers of a soundbar.
The QN90F is the best Neo QLED 4K TV from Samsung. And that is because it offers a combination of great performance, Glare Free coating, a variety of size options, and a decent pricing.
Its 4K VA QLED panel with Mini LED backlight has enough dimming zones for pitch blacks in dark areas and enough brightness in the highlights. It offers around 2,000 nits of peak brightness and around 600-700 nits brightness in fullscreen. That is more than enough for impactful HDR performance. Its Glare Free coating, which has improved this year, makes watching TV in all kinds of rooms equally good as it negates most glare and reflections.
The QN90F is available in several sizes, ranging from 43 inches ($1,300) to 98 inches ($15,000). And at that price, it is offers a lot more value than any 8K TV. It will also be available in a monstrous 115-inch size but that variant won’t have the Glare Free coating.
It has the same 4.2.2-channel 70W speaker system with Dolby Atmos as the QN900F and the new version of Tizen OS with deep integration with Samsung’s soundbars, phones, and other appliances. Overall, it offers a great set of features, performance, and size options.
If you don’t want to spend upwards of $1,000 on a TV, and want something that works well for all kinds of content, you should look at last year's Q80D. It has a 4K VA QLED panel with full-array local dimming and a 120Hz refresh rate (except on 50-inch version).
It works great for everyday TV because of its high brightness (1,000 nits peak and 600 nits fullscreen). It also offers excellent contrast ratio with the help of its VA panel and 96 local dimming zones, which means even dark content (like movies and TV shows) look really good for the price.
For gamers, it offers features like a 120Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync, G-Sync Compatible, ALLM, and VRR. It also features a 2.2-channel 40W speaker system that is better than speakers you find on most other TVs.
Convenience features like Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5, AirPlay 2, DLNA, Smart View, and multiple voice assistants (Alexa, Bixby, and Google Assistant) are present as well. You won't find any missing ports, as it has four HDMI 2.1 ports with full 4K 120Hz VRR capabilities.
It is priced at $800 for the 55-inch version and $1,000 (including discounts and offers) for the 65-inch version, and at that price, you are getting a TV that performs well on almost all fronts.
The new version of The Frame (2025) is the best-looking TV in the market, especially if you want something unique that becomes a statement piece in your living room. Thanks to its ultra-slim design with white body and phone frame-like replaceable bezels, flush wall mount technology, and the One Connect Box, it looks different compared to most other TVs on the market. You can customize the bezels through its easy-to-use magnetic bezel system.
It has decent (but not truly satisfying) picture quality, but you are not buying it for its picture quality but for its looks. That doesn't mean its performance is bad. It's just alright, but you will find other TVs on the market that offer much better picture quality but can't even come close to matching The Frame's looks.
In its Art Mode, the TV displays popular artworks and paintings (or your photos if you wish). It uses its Dual-LED backlight system and matte finish to tune the display in such a way that it looks more like a painting canvas rather than a screen. Paintings look absolutely gorgeous on it. And it displays those artworks automatically when you are not actively watching any videos on it.
If you want a version of The Frame that looks great and also offers good picture quality, you should look at the newly introduced The Frame Pro, which uses edge-lit Mini LED backlight system for better contrast with local dimming and higher brightness. But it costs $400 more for the 65-inch version.
Note: The prices listed here were checked on the article's original publishing date. Prices usually keep changing after a few days later and vary across retailers and stores. Please check the pricing before making a purchase, and make your decision accordingly.
