Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 in the United States earlier this week. It's now taking pre-orders for the new foldables, but while the two flagship foldables are available from all major US carriers, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is not.
None of the major carriers are offering the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE and it seems unlikely they will do so in the future as well. However, Boost Mobile does have Samsung's “affordable” foldable phone and it's now taking pre-orders.
Customers who wish to buy the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE on a carrier payment plan in the US can now do so from Boost Mobile. The carrier will sell them the device for $25 per month on its 36-month financing plan.
Those who buy the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE from Boost Mobile at the full $899 retail price will get a free year of service from the carrier. There's another plan it offers that provides better value but it's not worth getting the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE on it.
Boost Mobile's Infinite Access for Galaxy plan starts at $65 per month with unlimited talk, text, and data. Customers on this plan can get a Galaxy Z Flip 7 or Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE for free or they can save $1,100 off the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
It goes without saying that when presented with the option to get either the Galaxy Z Flip 7 or Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE for no additional monthly cost, the sane thing to do is go for the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
