Samsung has released the first software update to the Galaxy S25 series. It brings the latest security patch to the company's newest high-end phones. Let us learn more about the new update.
The Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra have started getting their first software updates in South Korea. The new update (585.9MB in download size) comes with firmware version S93xNKSU1AYB3 and includes the February 2025 security patch that fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities.
Looking at the firmware version, it appears that the update doesn't bring any performance enhancements or new features. Now that the update has been released in South Korea, we expect it to be released in other countries within the next few hours or days.
If you have a Galaxy S25 series phone, you can keep checking for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install.
Galaxy S25 users expected Samsung to release a bug-fixing and performance-enhancing update for their phones, but that hasn't happened yet, as the new update only brings security fixes.
