Samsung is preparing several phones for next year. After launching the Galaxy S25 next month, the company could launch new Galaxy A-series phones, including the Galaxy A56.
Some new information about the Galaxy A56 has come to light.
The Galaxy A56, which has not been announced yet, recently appeared in the Bluetooth SIG database with model number SM-A566B_DS. It features Bluetooth 5.4, an upgrade over the Galaxy A55's Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.
This was expected since the Exynos 1580 chip, which powers the Galaxy A56, features integrated Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4.
Bluetooth 5.4 offers a more reliable wireless connection with improved power efficiency. So, whether you are using wireless earbuds, a Galaxy SmartTag, or a Galaxy Watch, the Galaxy A56 could offer more stable and reliable connectivity with those accessories.
Previous reports indicate that the Galaxy A56 will have other upgrades, including 45W fast charging and a longer software update support. It also comes with an Exynos 1580 chip with four high-performance CPU cores and an upgraded Xclipse 540 GPU.
Leaked renders of the Galaxy A56 have pointed toward a slightly refreshed design with flat sides. It will also come with a 12MP selfie camera, a massive upgrade compared to Galaxy A55's 32MP selfie camera.
