Now that people who pre-ordered the Galaxy S25 have started getting their new phone in their hands, Samsung has released an update to the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro's companion app to bring its UI design in line with One UI 7.0.
The new update for the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Manager app is now available for some people. It brings a new UI design and additional options for the Buds 3 Pro widget on the home screen. As you can see in the screenshot below, there is a new toggle called Background and a new option for matching the widget's background with the phone's setting (Dark or Light).
You can also adjust the widget's background transparency. There are three levels of transparency settings. Moreover, as you can see in the screenshot (right) above, the layout of the widget has changed slightly. The widget, in its 2 x 1 and 4 x 1 grid sizes, now has more rounded corners, making it appear as a pill.
You should be able to download the new version of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Manager app from the Galaxy Store or the Google Play Store. Remember, the new version is only available for devices running One UI 7.0. So, that limits it to the Galaxy S24 (running One UI 7.0 Beta) and the Galaxy S25.
