The Galaxy S24 FE is getting the November 2024 firmware update in more countries, a couple of weeks after the update rolled out in the US and a week after it was released for Korean users. The update is now available in Europe, where S24 FE users can identify it by the build number S721BXXU3AXK4.
This is the second update for the Galaxy S24 FE following its launch back in late September. It brings the November 2024 security patch to the phone and improves the stability and reliability of the software.
The November 2024 security patch brings fixes for 38 security flaws in the Android OS. For Samsung's own apps and interface, there are another 13 security fixes. The patch also fixes a vulnerability affecting devices powered by some Exynos chips. The list of affected chips includes the Exynos 2400, a lower-clocked version of which powers the Galaxy S24 FE worldwide.
As always, you can download the latest security update on your Galaxy device from its Settings » Software update menu. You can also visit our firmware library to download the latest Galaxy S24 FE firmware and install it on a phone over a wired connection on a Windows PC.
Those who own a Galaxy S24, S24+, or S24 Ultra may also find a new update waiting for them, at least in Europe. They will also get early access to the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update in the coming weeks as long as they live in one of the countries eligible for Samsung's One UI beta programs.
