The Galaxy S24 FE is joining the Galaxy S24 models on the list of devices that Samsung has updated with the January 2025 security patch. The FE model is getting the January 2025 update almost a week after the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra.
The update made its debut in Europe and the USA but should be making its way to other countries and regions soon. It sports the build number S721BXXS3AXL1 or S721USQS3AXL1 depending on your country and enhances the device's security.
To download updates on your Galaxy S24 FE, open the Settings app on it, navigate to the Software update menu, then tap Download and install. Galaxy S24 FE firmware are available for download from our firmware archives as well.
The next update for the S24 FE will hopefully bring Android 15 and One UI 7.0. Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra owners in select countries have had access to the beta version of One UI 7 since early December, but the FE model will directly get the stable update in a few weeks.
