Samsung revealed back in March that it would bring the official One UI 7 update to the Galaxy S24 series and the Galaxy S23 series sometime in April, with the rollout commencing on April 7 and then expanding to more and more devices in the weeks that follow.
Samsung's original announcement about the release schedule suggested that all four Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 models would receive the update in April. That was surprising as only the base, Plus, and Ultra models were eligible for the One UI 7 beta program, but it was a welcome surprise for folks who own the Galaxy S24 FE or Galaxy S23 FE.
Unfortunately, the original announcement was misleading. Neither phone will get the One UI 7 (Android 15) update in April. All eligible Galaxy S FE handsets, including the Galaxy S21 FE, will receive the update sometime in the month of May, at least according to Samsung Germany.
As always, availability of the latest major One UI will vary by market, and you will want to keep an eye out on the Samsung Members app for the local schedule for your country. We expect the update to become available globally for all FE models before June, but we also suggest keeping your expectations in check as the One UI 7 rollout hasn't exactly gone as smoothly as we had hoped.
