Samsung has released the One UI 7.0 Beta 5 update to the Galaxy S24 series. It brings several bug fixes and wider support for log video recording. The update is currently available in India and the US, and other countries could get the same update soon.
The latest beta version of One UI 7.0, which is rolling out in India and the US, fixes several known bugs in the software. It also supports Samsung Log video recording on the Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+. Earlier, the log video recording feature was supported only on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, and it was released with the fourth One UI 7.0 beta update.
The update has a download size of nearly 1GB (941.32MB for Galaxy S24 Ultra in the USA). It comes with firmware version S92xBXXU4ZYC6 in India and S92xU1UEU4ZYC6 in the USA. It also includes the March 2025 security patch, which fixes dozens of additional security flaws.
The update fixes errors related to how the Now Bar is displayed. It also fixes errors related to the lock screen notification, icon size (appearing small) on the widget setting screen, blur effect for widget transparency, and font/image partial overlap. It also fixes menu spacing issues found with quick actions.
The official changelog says that the Gallery app had issues related to the Edit button, which sometimes did not work. That problem has been solved. The update also fixes notification history and media playback real-time notification display.
If you have a Galaxy S24 series phone enrolled in the One UI 7.0 Beta Program, you can now check for the new update. To install the new update, head over to Settings » Software update » Download and install.
