If you were hoping to see the stable One UI 7.0 update next on your Galaxy S24, we hate to break it to you that Samsung's latest software update for your phone isn't One UI 7.0. Instead, the company has released the March 2025 security update for the Galaxy S24.
Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. The update brings the March 2025 security patch that aims to fix several dozen security loopholes discovered in the previous software versions. It is a minor update and bears firmware version S92xBXXS5AYB6 in Europe and S92xBXXS5AYB6 in Asia.
If you have a Galaxy S24 series phone (except for the Galaxy S24 FE), you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install on your device.
Alternatively, you can head to our firmware database and download the latest firmware file appropriate for your phone's model number. Then, you can flash that file on your device manually using a PC running Windows OS and having the Odin tool installed.
Samsung has promised to release the Android 15-based stable One UI 7.0 update to the Galaxy S24 series starting April 7. The update might not be released at the same time for all the markets. Some countries could get the update earlier than the others.
