Samsung's best slab-type flagship of 2024, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, has silently disappeared from store shelves in the USA. The landing page still exists, but the phone is out of stock.
You can no longer buy the Galaxy S24 Ultra unlocked or through a carrier option, and every storage configuration and color option has been crossed out.
Two Galaxy S24 and S24+ options remain available as of this writing, but the rest is likewise out of stock. That includes the 256GB Galaxy S24 and everything but the 512GB Galaxy S24+ from Verizon.
We wouldn't be surprised if the base and Plus models will also go away entirely sooner rather than later. However, they might return.
Even though the Galaxy S24 series seems to be on its last legs, there's still a chance it will reappear at Samsung's e-shop through the Certified Re-Newed program.
At the moment, Samsung offers the Galaxy S21, S22, and S23 lineups through the Certified Re-Newed program. The 2024 models could join it soon.
The Galaxy S24 lineup offers great trade-in value for Galaxy S25 buyers, and Samsung will likely refurbish some of those traded-in S24 units and bring them back to the market as used phones.
If you intend to also leave the Galaxy S24 behind for the newer Galaxy S25, Samsung offers trade-in values of up to $1,200, depending on what you want to buy and which 2024 model you want to exchange.
However, if you planned on buying the Galaxy S24 Ultra for a lower price, that ship has sailed but we'll keep an eye on the Certified Re-Newed program and let you know if or when things change on that front.
