Earlier this month, we learned that the top-end mode in Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone lineup, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, will feature 45W wired charging. Now, we have information about the charging speeds of the other two phones in the series, the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25+.
China’s 3C has certified two Samsung smartphones that the company hasn’t launched it. They have model numbers SM-S9310 and SM-9360. Going by the model numbers, these phones seem to be the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25+.
According to the certification, the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25+ support charging at up to 45W, similar to the Galaxy S25 Ultra and previous Galaxy S2x Ultra smartphones. That’s a huge improvement over their predecessors, the Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+, which support charging at up to 25W.
The story continues after the video…
It’s good to see Samsung finally offering the same speed charging speed on the base and Plus models as that on the Ultra models. However, it is still far behind other Android brands in this aspect and even Apple has now caught up to Samsung.
