Sketch to Image is one of the most interesting Galaxy AI tools Samsung released last year. It lets Galaxy device users draw cool images from scratch or add new elements to their photos using AI. We sure had a lot of fun using it, but in 2025, the AI-enabled drawing tool will get even better.
Today, Samsung offered a sneak peek into how Sketch to Image will massively improve once the Galaxy S25 series goes official at Unpacked next week.
With the Galaxy S25 series, Sketch to Image becomes more multimodal. Whether you draw a sketch using the S Pen or your fingertip, Sketch to Image will allow you to give Galaxy AI additional instructions through text or voice commands. You will be able to tell Sketch to Image what to draw.
An example Samsung shared was sketching a cat using the S Pen or finger and writing additional instructions, like “spacesuit,” in a newly added text box or through voice commands. The improved Sketch to Image AI will take all that information and generate a drawing of a cat wearing a spacesuit.
Another example Samsung offers is making a quick drawing of the facade of your dream home, then telling the AI some possible locations for the home, such as “by the beach” or “up in the mountains.” The AI will handle the rest.

Samsung says One UI 7 is its “first integrated AI platform.” Through it, Galaxy phones “will become true AI companions that understand natural language through text, speech, and images” and help users achieve a new level of creativity.
Galaxy Unpacked is scheduled for January 22. At the event, fans will see the new Galaxy S25 series in all its glory, along with all the Galaxy AI and Bixby advancements for One UI 7 and the latest phones.
Reservations for the Galaxy S25 lineup are open, and early adopters get exclusive bonuses. Reserving the phone also gives fans in the US a chance to win $5,000 in Samsung Credit regardless of whether or not they buy the Galaxy S25 once it is available.
