A couple of days ago, Samsung revealed the date for the next Galaxy Unpacked event, where it will launch the Galaxy S25 series. In addition to the vanilla, Plus, and Ultra models as usual, leaks and rumors have been suggesting that the South Korean tech giant will launch a fourth device this time, the Galaxy S25 Slim, and the company’s teaser for the Galaxy Unpacked event further strengths them. However, there’s very little we know about the device. Well, we now have a new piece of information about the device.
A Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-S937U, which is speculated to be the Galaxy S25 Slim, has been spotted on Geekbench. The listing of the upcoming smartphone on the benchmarking platform reveals that it will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, just like the other three smartphones in the lineup. It also reveals that the phone has 12GB RAM, which could be one of the memory options on offer. Lastly, it also reveals that the phone runs on Android 15 (probably fused with One UI 7.0).
The Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to be extremely thin, measuring 6.x mm. Other expected specs include a 6.7-inch QHD+ display, a triple-camera setup at the rear with a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, and a battery with a capacity between 4,700 and 5,000mAh. You can think of it as the Galaxy S25 Ultra with a slightly smaller screen and no S-Pen, which is something people have been asking for a very long time.
