The Snapdragon 8 Elite, which will likely be used in the Galaxy S25 series globally, is one of the best smartphone chips of the year. However, to tame its power, Samsung might use a better cooling system than the Galaxy S24 series.
According to tipster Ahmed Qwaider, all three Galaxy S25 series phones use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip worldwide. Moreover, they also revealed that the phones will have improved cooling systems to keep the temperature in check.
They claim that the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25+ feature a 10% better cooling system, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra reportedly has a 42% better cooling mechanism. All three phones likely use a vapor chamber system to keep the thermals in check.
The tipster says the heat dissipated from the Snapdragon chip will be distributed throughout the phone. This is not new, though, as even previous generation Galaxy flagships used a similar mechanism. For example, the Galaxy S24 featured a 90% bigger vapor chamber than the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Qualcomm's latest flagship smartphone chip has a 38% faster CPU, 34% more powerful GPU, and a 43% faster NPU. The tipster also claimed that all Galaxy S25 series phones will come with a minimum of 12GB of RAM, which is a 50% jump compared to the base variant of the Galaxy S25.
