Over the years, Samsung has developed a few unique and clever features for the S Pen. Although the Galaxy S25 Ultra S Pen lacks some of those features, thankfully, it has retained others.
As you probably heard, the new S Pen no longer has Bluetooth, which means it no longer supports Air Actions. But, in case you were wondering, the “Warn if S Pen is left behind” feature is still supported by the Galaxy S25 Ultra S Pen.
That's because this safety feature doesn't require Bluetooth. It's not actually an Air Actions component. Simply, the Galaxy S25 Ultra (and previous models) knows whether or not the S Pen is in its holster. If you remove the S Pen and walk away with your phone while the screen is off, you'll get a warning that you left the S Pen behind.
If you want to keep the warning feature enabled, you can set it on the Galaxy S25 Ultra via the “More S Pen settings” menu inside the Settings app. And we can't see why you'd keep it off now unless you want to ditch the S Pen altogether and leave the holster exposed for whatever reason.
Assuming you don't mind the S Pen Bluetooth downgrade, the accessory is as good as ever for note-taking and drawing, thanks to the high-precision 0.7mm nib and the 4096 pressure levels. And the Galaxy S25 Ultra itself looks pretty great, too.
