Last week, Samsung’s upcoming One UI 8.5 leaked, revealing details about many things. One of them was that the brand’s next non-foldable flagship phone, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, will feature 60W charging, which is 33% faster than Galaxy S25 Ultra’s 45W charging. Well, we now have some figures on the phone’s charging times as well.

On Weibo, Ice Universe claims that the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s 5,000mAh battery can charge up to 75% or 80% within 30 minutes. In a follow-up post, he says that those are Samsung’s official numbers and the South Korean tech giant is being conservative. The tipster claims that in reality the phone may charge up to 90% within half an hour.

In comparison, the Galaxy S25 Ultra can charge up to 72% in 30 minutes. It means that the Galaxy S26 Ultra could charge in 25% less time than its predecessor, which is a significant improvement. While that's great, some people may point out that Chinese flagships charge faster.

We still don’t have 0%-100% charging times yet, which is what most people may be interested in. That being said, considering the current numbers, it is possible that the Galaxy S26 Ultra may charge from zero to hundred percent within 45 minutes, which should satisfy most people.
