Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S27 series early next year. Ahead of the launch, the company has received safety clearance for the batteries inside the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra, giving us our first look at them.
The Galaxy S27 Pro battery (model number EB-BS957CBY) and the Galaxy S27 Ultra battery (model number EB-BS958DBY) have received certification (via NotebookCheck) from South Korea's consumer product safety agency, Safety Korea. The units were listed under certification numbers YU10899-26034 and YU10899-26036, and you can see their images below.

While these images do not reveal exact capacities, a previous leak indicated that the Galaxy S27 Pro uses a 5,087mAh battery and the Galaxy S27 Ultra will come with a 5,534mAh unit. Samsung could market these with typical capacities of 5,200mAh and 5,800mAh, respectively. Both batteries are manufactured in China by Zhuhai CosMX Power.
The Galaxy S27 Ultra's battery capacity is roughly 16% larger than that of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, while the Galaxy S27 Pro sees about a 6% increase over the Galaxy S26+. Both phones are expected to feature 60W fast wired charging and 25W fast wireless charging.
