Samsung has increased the pace of releasing the One UI 7.0 beta update. After promising to expand its availability to more devices, it released the update to the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 last week. Today, the company released the second beta update with bug fixes.
Samsung has released (via @tarunvats33) the second beta version of Android 15-based One UI 7.0 to the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in South Korea. The Galaxy Z Flip 6's new update comes bearing firmware version F741NKSUZZYC8, while that of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 comes with firmware version ending ZYC7.
The update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a download size of around 700MB. The update for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 could have a bigger download size. To download the update, head over to Settings » Software update » Download and install.
The new update fixes the battery widget overlapping issue, animation issue while navigating to the home screen, and screen issues during gaming. It has also fixed the bug that prevented the Calendar widget from being resized. The official changelog claims that the new update fixes the camera quick control's left bias, media icon error on the status bar, and battery error on the cover display.
Some apps couldn't run on the cover screen, and Samsung claims to have fixed that issue. When the phone was folded, it couldn't recognize NFC tags. That issue, along with many others, has also been fixed with the new update.
