While Samsung hasn't released the One UI 7.0 update yet, it has released an updated version of Good Lock's Home Up module. A lot of Galaxy fans have been waiting for this release, as it allows for the tuning of UI animations.
A new version (16.0.00.56) of the Home Up app has been released. It brings support for devices running One UI 7.0 (currently limited to Galaxy S25 in stable form), Edge Panels, and the ability to tune home screen animations. You can download the new version of Home Up from the Galaxy Store.
The app has also received a UI redesign to match the aesthetics of One UI 7.0. It now looks a lot more modern. Sadly, it still doesn't seem to go through proper English translations for text inside the app.
You can customize the home screen of your Galaxy phone without even opening the Home Up app, as some of its settings will be available in the One UI Home app launcher. You can also place things anywhere on the home screen without any grid constraints.
More importantly, you can tune home gesture animations and multi-finger gestures according to your liking. Gestures can be performed anywhere on the home screen with multiple fingers. Watch our short video below to see all the new features and the app's new UI design.
The app also allows you to hide favorites to make the home screen appear cleaner. You can also customize the size of app icons and folders on the home screen. You can also arrange buttons with more flexibility.
The new version of Home Up allows you to view more items while using Edge Panels. On foldable phones and tablets, it lets you change the order of icons on the taskbar. You can also add other things to the taskbar.
