Samsung revealed the Galaxy S25 Edge during the announcement of the Galaxy S25 series. However, besides revealing its design, the company didn't offer many details about the phone. If you like lightweight phones, the Galaxy S25 Edge could be for you.
An earlier report claimed that the Galaxy S25 Edge is just 5.84mm thin. But no information was revealed about its weight. Popular tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce on X) has claimed that the Galaxy S25 Edge is lighter than the base Galaxy S25. That makes the Galaxy S25 Edge lighter than 162g.
We still don't know the exact weight of the Galaxy S25 Edge, but if the information from the tipster is accurate, it is impressive that Samsung has managed to make a phone that has a screen as big (6.7-inch) as the Galaxy S25+ but weighs less than the Galaxy S25 (6.2-inch screen).
You can check out the design of the Galaxy S25 Edge in our video below.
The Galaxy S25 Edge reportedly features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with 2,600 nits peak brightness, ultrasonic fingerprint reader, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The phone is said to feature an Armor Aluminum frame and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S25 Edge with a dual-camera setup on the rear. It reportedly has a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP selfie camera.
It has stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, USB 3.2 Type-C port, and a 3,900mAh battery with 25W fast charging. It will likely be launched in late April 2025 with a price tag higher than the Galaxy S25+.
