The One UI 7.0 beta program will be available for both developers and regular users. This was always expected, but Samsung fans were a little concerned when the company only confirmed the beta for developers following the first official One UI 7.0 teaser at the Samsung developer conference (SDC24) last week.
That isn't the case, however: a moderator on Samsung's community forums in the US confirmed that the public will get access to the One UI 7.0 beta program at some point. Again, this isn't surprising, but it should lay to rest the concerns some had after the One UI 7.0 reveal at SDC24.
Unfortunately, it could be a while before One UI 7.0 beta testing begins for both developers and users, as Samsung won't be releasing the stable version of the new software to existing devices before the Galaxy S25 series launch sometime early next year.
The One UI 7.0 beta has already been delayed by two months compared to the One UI 6.0 and 5.0 beta programs. Samsung has a good reason, though. One UI 7.0 is bringing a massive refresh for the user interface, the likes of which we haven't seen since probably version 1.0 of One UI from back in 2018.
You can see One UI 7.0 in action on a Galaxy S24 Ultra in the video above. This was captured at SDC24 in early October, and while many things could change as development on One UI 7.0 continues, it provides a good glimpse at where Samsung's software is headed.
