The One UI 7.0 beta program requires more time in the oven and may be delayed further, according to a moderator on Samsung's community forums. Samsung has taken more time than usual for developing every One UI update this year, so the One UI 7.0 delay doesn't come as a surprise.
However, the reason for the One UI 7.0 delay is different. While One UI 6.1 and One UI 6.1.1 required more development time because of Galaxy AI, One UI 7.0 is taking longer because Samsung wants to make it as stable as possible before starting the beta testing program.
Furthermore, Samsung is still having discussions about new features, which is contributing to the delay. Again, none of this is surprising. Galaxy AI has upended Samsung's entire One UI release schedule, and we can expect longer wait times for each One UI update in the future.
One UI 7.0, based on Android 15, will introduce substantial visual interface changes and improve aspects like UI animations. According to leaked info from a month ago, the following are some of the features and changes One UI 7.0 will bring to eligible Galaxy smartphones.
