The One UI 7.0 update brings a new UI design not only to the operating system's interface but also to all the stock Samsung apps. One such app is Smart Switch, which has an updated design language and a refreshed app icon. It is Samsung's default app to transfer data from your old phone to your new Galaxy phone.
The Smart Switch app has just received a new update bearing version 3.7.61.16. It brings a refreshed app icon featuring a darker share of blue and a gradient design. You can see the difference between the design of the old version (left) and the new version (right) in the images below.
Samsung has updated the UI design inside the app. The app now shows two options—Send From This Phone and Receive On This Phone—more clearly. Users can now understand that those two are buttons that can be tapped. The earlier design wasn't as clear.
Now that Samsung has launched the Galaxy S25, which is the first phone to run One UI 7.0 out of the box, all the stock apps are being updated with the new design language. People who will soon get their hands on their pre-ordered Galaxy S25 series devices will get to use the latest design across all stock apps.
