The Galaxy Book 5 pre-order period in the USA coincided with the Galaxy S25 launch. Now, the pre-order window is closed for both categories of devices. The Galaxy Book 5 series is finally available for purchase outright.
As of this writing, Samsung's new laptop series in the USA consists of three models, i.e., the Galaxy Book 5 360, the Galaxy Book 5 Pro, and the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360. Here's what each configuration costs.
Samsung also accepts trade-ins for each of these models. Trade-in values go as high as $500, and you can exchange older laptops, phones, or tablets.
Regardless of which Galaxy Book 5 variant you choose, you get a laptop powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 (Series 2) chip with Intel ARC graphics. Each Book 5 laptop is also equipped with an AMOLED touchscreen. However, the Book 5 360 has a Full HD AMOLED display, whereas the Pro models boast 3K AMOLED panels.
One other thing that sets the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 apart from the rest of the series, aside from the 2-in-1 design, is the inclusion of an S Pen.
Samsung's Galaxy Book laptops run Windows 11, and recently, they received an update to the Samsung Settings app that brings full compatibility with Galaxy mobile devices that run One UI 7 (for now, only the Galaxy S25 series does).
Of all the models listed above, the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 variant is the only one to get a no-trade-in discount. Click the buy button below for more details about these Galaxy Book 5 offers.
