It’s no secret that Samsung’s next lineup of flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S25 series, will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, thanks to all the leaks we have had about it, a huge relief for people who don't want to see an Exynos chipset inside them due to fear of inferior performance. However, there was no official confirmation about it. Well, until now.
Yesterday, Samsung revealed the date for the next Galaxy Unpacked event, where it will launch the Galaxy S25 series. The South Korean tech giant also posted about it on X (previously known as Twitter). Qualcomm’s @Snapdragon account on the platform reposted that tweet saying “See you there.” It confirms that the Galaxy S25 lineup will feature Snapdragon chipsets.
So, if you didn’t trust leaks and rumors, here’s proof for you. While there’s still no confirmation on which Snapdragon chipset the Galaxy S25 series will use, there's no other option for Samsung other than the Snapdragon 8 Elite or a ‘For Galaxy‘ version of it, which will be even better. Samsung’s going to unveil the lineup on 22 January 2025, and you can already pre-reserve it.
