Development of One UI 9.0 for the Galaxy S25 series has hit a key milestone: the first internal test build for the Galaxy S25 Ultra has been spotted on Samsung’s servers. This follows similar test builds appearing for the Galaxy S26 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in recent weeks, which we’ve been able to test on our own devices.
Samsung hasn’t released the One UI 8.5 update to the public yet, but that isn’t stopping the company from preparing the next major One UI and Android release for eligible devices.
