Samsung has finally ended the One UI 6 Watch Beta Program for the Galaxy Watch 5 series. The stable update is now available for the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro in South Korea. The update could be released in other countries soon.
Samsung has released the stable One UI 6 Watch update to the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. The update is currently only available to Galaxy Watch 5 series users who participated in the One UI 6 Watch Beta Program. Other users could get the stable update within the next few days.
In a notice sent to Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro users who participated in the One UI 6 Watch Beta Program, Samsung announced that it won't release any new One UI 6 Watch beta updates and that users should update to the latest software version on their smartwatches.
The South Korean firm also urged users to continue sending bug reports in the company's official forum (Samsung Community).
The One UI 6 Watch software is based on Google's Wear OS 5 operating system. It brings several new features, including Galaxy AI-powered personalized health tips, improved sleep tracking and analysis, and custom workout routines.
The update also introduces a brand-new default font across the system, a new toggle design, a new charging animation and charge screen information, improved Quick Panel UI, and the Double Pinch gesture. There are gestures to go back and forth on the screen. One UI 6 Watch also brings a new UI for ongoing activities.
There is a new app for Samsung Find. It also has new or improved Tiles for Alarm, Battery, Body Composition, Calculator, Dual Clock, Sleep, Stress, Weather, and Weather Forecast. The Calculator app's UI has been improved, and there is an option to limit health features when Power Saving mode is turned on.
