Samsung released Android 15-based One UI 7.0 almost two months ago. It brings a number of improvements, including redesigned UI, smoother animations, and new features. One of them is a new icon for the Samsung Find app. Well, the South Korean tech giant is now offering it to devices running on Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1.

According to a Reddit user, Samsung has updated the icon of the Find app on One UI 6.1.1, and it is the same icon that you find in One UI 7. You can check out the old and the new icons in the images below. The one on the left is old and the one on the right is new.

We took out our Galaxy S23 running on One UI 6.1.1 and found that it had the same old icon. We then headed to the Galaxy Store to see if there’s an update available for the Find app which gives us the new icon. We discovered that the listing of the app on the platform has the new icon and Samsung pushed an update to the app today. However, we still see the old icon for the Find app on our Galaxy S23.

It looks like Samsung is pushing the new icon through a server-side update in phases. While the new icon isn’t a huge deal, it is good to see Samsung paying attention to detail.
