After Samsung recently announced the retirement of the Samsung DeX app for Windows PCs, it appeared that the future of Samsung Flow was hanging in the balance. However, it seems that Samsung has decided to continue to support Samsung Flow, as it recently received a new app icon.
It has been revealed that the Samsung Flow app has received a new icon. You can see the new (left) and old (right) app icons in the images below. Samsung seems to have changed the styling of the letter F to a more defined version. It now uses a gradient blue color for the background instead of a solid blue background.
Apart from the new app icon, we haven't noticed any changes to the app's design. Once logged into the app, you can send audio, contacts, files, images, Samsung Notes, and videos from one Galaxy device to another via the app's chat-style interface. You can also mirror one device's screen on another device wirelessly using the app.
It also supports Dark and Light modes, and the app switches between them automatically based on device settings.
The new version (4.9.16.6) of Samsung Flow is likely only available for devices running One UI 7.0. However, it could also be released to phones running older versions of One UI.
If you want to download the new version of Samsung Flow, you can do that by visiting this link, downloading the APK file, and installing it manually on your Galaxy device.

Since Samsung has designed a new app icon for the Samsung Flow app, it doesn't look like the company will drop support for the app for another year.
