At this point, Samsung’s smartphone price hikes in India are becoming a regular occurrence. The brand has increased prices so many times this year that we’ve lost count, and now, it has done it again. This time, the Galaxy M47 and Galaxy F70 Pro have become more expensive.
An image that appears to show Samsung’s communication to its retailers in India regarding the price increase of the Galaxy M47 and Galaxy F70 Pro has surfaced online (via Sanju Choudhary). You can check out the variant-wise old and new prices of the two phones below.

As you can see, Samsung has increased the prices of both smartphones by INR 3,000 across all storage and memory configurations. According to the leaked communication, the new prices came into effect yesterday, September 9, 2026. The company hasn’t revealed why it is increasing the prices of the two phones. However, we assume that the hikes could be related to rising memory chip prices.
Interestingly, the Galaxy M47 and Galaxy F70 Pro are still available at their old prices at several offline and online retailers. This is likely because these retailers may still have older stock. Once that stock runs out, the phones could be sold at their new prices. So, if you were planning to buy either of these two smartphones, this might be a good time to do so while the older stock—and the old prices—are still available.
