Galaxy AI offers several amazing features on eligible Galaxy smartphones. One of the highlights is the option to summarize everything from web pages and notes to voice recordings, and with One UI 7.0, Samsung could introduce notification summaries.
Notification summaries are among the features available on the first version of Apple Intelligence. iOS can show summarized versions of emails, text messages, and more in the notifications when the actual content of the notification is too long, and it has been touted as one of Apple Intelligence's most useful functionalities.
According to X/Twitter tipster @chunvn8888, Samsung is testing a similar feature for One UI. The tipster doesn't say if Samsung is testing the feature on a Galaxy S25 or an existing device like the Galaxy S24, but we can assume it's the former and notification summaries will be a part of One UI 7.0.
It's also unclear how similar Galaxy AI's notification summaries will be to Apple's. However, one thing we can be sure of is that Samsung will make the feature available to all smartphones and tablets that are eligible for Galaxy AI instead of just this year and last year's flagships, which is the case for Apple's iPhones.
We will hopefully be able to test Galaxy AI notification summaries in a few weeks when Samsung launches the One UI 7.0 beta program. We'll let you know once we have more information to share, so stay tuned.
