Today, Samsung unveiled its new phones—Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra—that have the Qi2 Ready certification. This means that the phones will charge via Qi2 chargers, but only through cases with Qi2 magnets built-in. Samsung also made a 3-in-1 wireless charger for its new phones.
Samsung has made a first-party 3-in-1 wireless charger (WWA-T420) that can charge a Qi2 Ready phone, a Galaxy Watch, and Galaxy Buds (or any other wireless earbuds) or Galaxy Ring.
It features Qi2 with magnetics for proper alignment via Magnetic Power Profile (MPP). It can charge the Galaxy S25 in a compatible case at 15W.
The company appears to have also designed a Qi2 wireless charger (WWA-T430) to be used in a car. It can be attached to an AC vent and can charge Qi2 Ready phones. It also offers 15W fast wireless charging.
Samsung has made one first-party case called Magnetic Case, and it has built-in magnets for magnetic alignment via Qi2's MPP system. The company will reveal more details regarding pricing and availability of these accessories in the near future.
