It has literally been just one month since the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra and the Galaxy Book 6 Pro were made available for purchase in the United States.
Samsung has now felt the need to considerably increase the prices for both of these models in the country.
The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra was priced starting at $2,449 initially. It now starts at $2,899. That's a $450 increase in just one month. The Galaxy Book 6 Pro was launched at $1,599 and is now available for $1,799, a $200 increase.
These price hikes have been made across the entire lineup, starting with the abovementioned base models. The top-of-the-line Galaxy Book 6 Ultra is now available for $3,599 and the equivalent Galaxy Book 6 Pro now costs $2,449.
It's not a good look for prices to be increased on products that were launched just a month ago. Such has been the relentless increase in component prices that Samsung was likely left with no option but to pass on this increase to consumers.
The notebooks aren't the only devices Samsung has hiked prices on this week. It has also made the 512GB and 1TB variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 more expensive by $80 in the United States, largely for the same reasons that component prices are at a level where price increases have become inevitable.
