Last month, Samsung started rolling a new software update to some of its television models that offered Tizen OS 8.0 and more importantly, One UI. Initially, the company made the new firmware available in Asian countries, including India, and yesterday, the brand released it in Canada. Now, the South Korean tech giant is rolling out the same software update to select TV models in the United Kingdom (UK) as well.
According to a post on Reddit, Samsung has released a new software update to the QN85C Neo QLED 4K Smart TV in the UK. It offers Tizen OS 8.0 and One UI. Both of these things result in a new design throughout the user interface as well as many new features. You can read more about it here.
The story continues after the video…
We expect Samsung to release the new software to other TV models and in other regions in the next few days. Unfortunately, the company has neither released a list of TVs that are eligible to get the update or a timeline for its rollout. You can get the update by going to Settings » All Settings » Support > Software Update » Update Now. Follow us on Telegram or WhatsApp to get latest Samsung news.
