Samsung started rolling out the April 2026 security patch to Galaxy smartphones with the Galaxy S26 series, and now the brand is expanding it to the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S24, and Galaxy S23 lineups, fixing 47 security issues.
Starting with the Galaxy S25, Samsung is rolling out the April 2026 security patch to it globally. The update for the international variant is 548.89MB in size and carries firmware version S93xBXXS9BZCH (via Tarun Vats).
As for the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23, Samsung is currently releasing the April 2026 security patch for the two lineups in South Korea, with availability in other markets likely to follow soon. The updates weigh 456.64MB and 436.32MB, respectively, and come with firmware versions S92xNKSS5CZCH and S91xNKSS7EZCI.
Speaking of updates for these three lineups, this isn’t the only software activity they have seen today. Over the past few hours, Samsung has released the ninth One UI 8.5 beta update for the Galaxy S25 series, the second beta update for the Galaxy S24 lineup, and has also opened the One UI 8.5 beta program for Galaxy S23 devices.
