Samsung has announced that its flagship OLED TV for 2025, the S95F, now has the Nvidia G-Sync Compatible certification for a smooth gaming experience when connected laptop or PC that has an Nvidia GPU. Earlier, the TV was limited to just the AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification.
Check out the list of best Samsung TVs here.
The S95F, which is Samsung's flagship OLED TV model for the year 2025, now features Nvidia G-Sync Compatible for a fluid, low-latency, and tear-free gaming experience. The TV can synchronize its refresh rate with the GPU's frame rate, which essentially stops screen tearing from happening.
Screen tearing is a phenomenon where a mismatch between the screen refresh rate and the GPU's frame rate can cause the screen to display multiple frames in a single draw. This causes a distorted image to appear on the screen, and it looks like the image is torn into two or more pieces. TVs and monitors that can match their screen refresh rate with the GPU's frame rate don't have this issue, and such devices get the AMD FreeSync or the Nvidia G-Sync certification.
All high-end Samsung TVs, including its OLED models, have the AMD FreeSync Premium certification. Some models even feature the higher-end AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification. The S95F is the first Samsung TV to feature both AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync Compatible certifications.
Kevin Lee, Executive VP of Samsung's Visual Display Customer Experience Team, said, “With the addition of NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility and our most advanced gaming features yet, Samsung’s 2025 OLED TVs deliver elite-level performance for even the most competitive players.“
