Samsung has announced that its monitors have been certified for reliable security, thanks to its Knox Vault technology. Samsung Knox on the company's monitors released since 2024 has now received Common Criteria (CC) certification. This certification has already been awarded to Samsungâs Smart TVs for over a decade.
Samsung Knox protects devices and users from various threats, including hacking. Devices equipped with Knox are protected against unauthorized access, especially during online transactions, smart home control, and voice recognition. The CC certification evaluates three key areas: System Integrity Monitoring (SIM), Unauthorized Execution Prevention (UEP), and Web Browser Security (WBS).

SIM monitors the kernel in real time, UEP validates digital signatures to prevent unauthorized code execution, and WBS helps block phishing websites during web browsing. Knox uses a multi-layered security architecture that includes Knox Matrix, Knox Vault, and TrustZone
Taeyong Son, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronicsâ Visual Display (VD) Business, said, âConnected displays have become central to how we work and live, making verified security essential. With Samsung Knox now certified on both smart TVs and monitors, we are delivering that protection consistently across our products.â
