Last week, Samsung announced the launch of the Smart Monitor M9, its first QD-OLED Smart Monitor. However, back then, it was available for purchase only in South Korea. Now, the monitor is available for purchase in more markets, including Singapore, the UK, and the USA.
The Smart Monitor M9 (S32FM90) is now available for purchase in the USA. It is priced at $1,600 and can be purchased from Amazon and Samsung's websites. Amazon is giving away a $300 Amazon Gift Card with the monitor, which effectively brings down the price of the monitor to $1,200. In the UK, it is priced at £1,120. In Singapore, the monitor costs SGD 2,488.
It has a 31.5-inch QD-OLED panel with a 165Hz variable refresh rate, 250 nits typical brightness, 400 nits peak brightness, a 0.03ms response time, HDR10+. It has AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Nvidia G-Sync Compatible, and VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certifications. It has a Glare Free coating and a height adjustable stand with pivot and tilt adjustments.
The Smart Monitor M9 also features a 12MP webcam with 4K video recording and IR sensor. It also has a 10W stereo speaker setup with Adaptive Sound Pro. Gaming features include Samsung Gaming Hub for cloud game streaming, Game Bar, Ultrawide Game View, and Virtual Aim Point.
It has one HDMI 2.1 port (with CEC), one DisplayPort 1.4 port, a USB Type-C port with 90W USB PD power output, two USB Type-A ports, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, AirPlay 2, Miracast, Smart View, and Tap View. It runs Tizen OS 9.0 with One UI interface. It also features Alexa, Bixby, Samsung TV Plus, and SmartThings Hub.
