The S90H uses a 4K OLED panel and comes in six sizes: 42-inch, 48-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, 77-inch, and 83-inch. 42-inch, 48-inch, and 83-inch variants could use LG Display's WRGB OLED panels, while 55-inch, 65-inch, and 77-inch models could use Samsung Display's QD-OLED panels. All variants support up to a 165Hz variable refresh rate (VRR).
Gamers would appreciate the TV having features like Auto Low-Latency Move (ALLM), AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and Nvidia G-Sync. Supported HDR formats include HDR10, HDR10+ (Adaptive and Gaming), HDR10+ Advanced, and HLG.

The TV uses the NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor to run the software onboard and to process videos. It has a powerful NPU for AI processing, and it is used to upscale low-resolution content to 4K (4K AI Upscaling Pro) and to turn SDR content into HDR via algorithms (Auto HDR Remastering).
Samsung has also equipped the S90H with advanced video processing features like Color Booter Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro. AI Soccer / Football Mode Pro enhances colors, boosts commentators' voices, and enhances crowd noise for a more immersive experience. Samsung has equipped the S90H with a 2.1-channel 40W speaker setup. It supports Dolby Atmos and Q-Symphony. Other audio features include 360 Audio, Active Voice Amplifier Pro, Adaptive Sound Pro, AI Sound Controller Pro, and Object Tracking Sound Lite.
It has built-in farfield microphones to capture audio for voice commands and for monitoring surrounding audio for features like Active Voice Amplifier, Adaptive Sound Pro, and Adaptive Volume.
The S90H has four HDMI 2.1 ports, all supporting HDMI CEC and up to a 165Hz refresh rate. It has three USB Type-A ports, an optical audio out port, an Ethernet port, and one cable TV (antenna) port. The TV has Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and supports AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Smart View, MultiView, and Tap View.
It has a built-in SmartThings Hub that can control Matter (needs dongle), SmartThings, and Zigbee (needs dongle) compatible smart home devices. It is also compatible with Philips Hue Sync to match smart lighting in a home.

The TV runs One UI Tizen software on top of the Tizen OS 10 operating system with Daily+, Daily Board, and Live Translate features. It will get up to seven generations of OS updates. It comes with Alexa, Bixby, and Google Assistant voice assistants onboard. The TV also has Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity apps for AI-powered help and to extract information from the internet.
Other gaming features include AI Auto Game Mode, Game Bar, Gaming Hub, HGiG, Mini Map Zoom, and Super Ultra Wide Game View. Samsung Health can display your health data from a Galaxy phone or Galaxy Watch and can even display live health vitals during workouts.
The Storage Share feature lets you share files wirelessly between your Galaxy phone, tablet, and laptop and your S90H TV. Onboard AI processing is used for features like Live Translate and Now Brief.
