Recently, Samsung launched two affordable phones—Galaxy A06 5G and Galaxy F06 5G—in India. Now, the company is preparing to launch two more affordable phones in the country. They are the Galaxy M06 5G and the Galaxy M16.

Galaxy M06 5G and Galaxy M16 are launching in India soon

Samsung has teased the upcoming launch of the Galaxy M06 5G and the Galaxy M16. A teaser image of the phones was published on Amazon India's website, and it confirms that the Galaxy M06 5G has a dual-camera setup on the rear and the Galaxy M16 has a triple-camera setup on the rear. The rear cameras on these phones will be grouped into a camera island.

Galaxy M06 5G specifications

The Galaxy M06 will likely share much of its hardware and specifications with the Galaxy A06 5G and the Galaxy F06 5G. So, you can expect it to have a 6.7-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution and 800 nits peak brightness.

The phone could have a 50MP primary rear camera and a 2MP depth camera. It could have an 8MP front-facing camera. It could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot.

Other features could include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 5G, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It could be powered by a 5,000mAh battery featuring 25W fast charging.

Galaxy M16 specifications

The Galaxy M16 could be identical to the Galaxy A16 5G, featuring a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It could have the Exynos 1330 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot.

It could have a 50MP primary camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, it could have a 13MP selfie camera. It could have a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.

The Galaxy M16 could have a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 5G, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.

Both phones will likely run One UI 7.0 (Android 15) out of the box. The Galaxy M06 5G could get four major Android OS updates, while the Galaxy M16 could get six major Android OS updates.
