Yesterday, Samsung released a new software update for the carrier-locked variants of the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra for the US that offered the November 2024 security patch, which fixes 51 security issues. Now, the company has made the same software update available for the factory-unlocked models of its three flagship smartphones from last year.
The new software updates for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra carry firmware versions S911U1UES5CXI8, S916U1UES5CXI8, and S918U1UES5CXI8. To get the new firmware, open the Settings app, scroll down to Software update, and tap on the Download and install button. We have made the new firmware files available in our database for you to download.

Unfortunately, the update doesn’t offer any bug fixes, performance improvements, or new features. That being said, Android 15-based One UI 7.0 isn’t too far away now. We expect Samsung to offer the new software update to other variants of the three smartphones in the next few days.
