Now Bar is one of the latest features in One UI 7, and after spending a bit of time with it and the Galaxy S25 for our hands-on videos at Unpacked, we're pretty sure sports fans are going to love it.
Samsung's Now Bar is an interactive pill-shaped UI element in the latest firmware version for the Galaxy S25 series. Through it, the phone delivers information and control options on the Always On Display and lock screen.
Now Bar is compatible with some apps and services, but the third One UI 7 beta firmware didn't offer a complete view of its capabilities.
However, now that we're at Unpacked, we've seen what information Now Bar can show. And one of its sources of information is Google Sports.
That's right! Now Bar can deliver live scores directly to your Galaxy S25 lock screen, and you can even swipe the bar to switch between different ongoing live matches.

With future One UI versions or Now Bar updates, Samsung could, in theory, add to this list and make Now Bar even more versatile. Nevertheless, this is a good starting point, and the integration with Google Sports was a pleasant surprise.
