Finally, Apple has released the Apple TV app for Android smartphones and tablets. Earlier, the Apple TV app was available only on Android TV (and Google TV)-powered TVs and media streaming devices. You can now watch Apple TV and Apple TV+ content on your Galaxy smartphone and tablet.
Apple announced a few hours ago that the Apple TV app is now available for Android smartphones and tablets via the Google Play Store. The app is now available in all the countries where Apple TV is available for other devices.
You can now watch hit Apple TV+ TV shows like Ted Lasso, Silo, Slow Horses, Severance, Hijack, and Presumed Innocent on your Samsung Galaxy phone and tablet. With MLS Season Pass, you can also watch Major League Soccer matches on the Apple TV app. You can also stream Friday Night Baseball on the app.
Apple is offering a 7-day trial period in which you can watch Apple TV+ content for free. Unfortunately, it doesn't support AirPlay, Google Cast, or Miracast wireless casting to smart displays.
