Le remake tant espéré d'Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, officiellement baptisé Black Flag Resynced, est bien réel et sa date de sortie est fixée au 9 juillet 2026. La confirmation provient d'une fuite massive, orchestrée involontairement par Ubisoft via son propre lanceur PC. Le projet promet un jeu entièrement retravaillé, mais conserve son ADN d'aventure solo et ne basculera pas vers le format RPG (jeu de rôle).
